Shannon is joyfully rounding out her last stretch of a Master of Arts in Counseling at Westminster Theological Seminary this Fall. She became passionate about counseling after having received God’s own comfort through His Word and through people who have loved her well in her own life. She has seen how hope can look like walking closely with a Person and seeing a glimpse of the grace He is weaving through our lives. She currently serves at a pregnancy center that ministers to women and men wrestling with the challenges that come with unexpected pregnancies. She was born and raised in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. and is a lover of walks, great movies, Christmas songs, authentic street tacos, and a good road trip. She has experienced grace after grace from being listened to and understood well, and seeks to do the same for others.
