Julie grew up in Western New York and now calls Durham, North Carolina, her home. Married for over thirty years, Julie and her husband have two adult children and the sweetest dog. Julie earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary and holds a B.S. in Occupational Therapy. She brings a broad and diverse perspective, having worked with adults across multiple healthcare settings. Her passion for biblical counseling emerged as she and her husband led a young adults ministry and provided pre-marital counseling at their church. Known for her genuine warmth and compassionate listening, she can apply the words and promises of God to everyday life. Her faith has been forged through deeper questions and enduring trials. In her free time, you’ll find her walking her dog, trying to avoid housework, or enjoying being near water, whether a puddle, a river, a pool, or the ocean.
