Evan Marbury

Counselor

Evan grew up outside of St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from University of Missouri-Columbia (Mizzou) with a degree in Psychology, he earned a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary. He also earned a Doctor of Ministry in Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Evan’s passion for counseling grew when he joined the Army Reserve as a Chaplain for over four years and continued as he served for two years as the Executive Director of a pregnancy center in Chapel Hill. Aside from his work at Hope, Evan serves as a pastor in Durham, and he also serves as an online adjunct professor of Psychology and Biblical Studies at Belhaven University. Evan has been married to his wife Katrina since 2013, and they have two children.
