FIFTY @ FIFTY, A Partnership for Hope, is a new Hope Counseling Services initiative. We are seeking 50 new donors who can commit to give $50 or more per month to advance the work of Hope’s ministry.
Hope Counseling Services exists to create safe places in Chapel Hill and the surrounding area where people of all ages and stages of life can speak honestly about their struggles, encounter the living Redeemer, and find the hope and lasting change He alone provides through Christ-centered, biblically based counseling and training.
For three years, I have referred members of the church I pastor as well as others in our community to Hope Counseling Services. I know when I send someone to meet with them they will be directed to see Jesus in the midst of their struggle. I’ve been so impressed by their work in the counseling room that I’ve asked Hope to serve our church by equipping us through teaching seminars…Hope is number one on my referral list for counseling in the Triangle. There is no better place to seek counsel in our local community than Hope Counseling Services.
You Can Make a Difference
Because we are a ministry, we are dependent on God’s people to partner with us and financially support our work. Would you prayerfully consider joining us in our Partnership for Hope, FIFTY @ FIFTY?
Donations are a Vital Part of our Work
Because we are a ministry, we will never turn anyone away from using our services because of what they can or cannot afford. Therefore, we rely on donations for everything we do. Your donations:
– Underwrite our counseling costs. On average, Hope receives $80 per hour of counseling, yet our actual costs are closer to $125 per hour of counseling.
– Make it possible for our counselors and staff to receive appropriate training, mentoring, and supervision every week.
-Pay for the development and delivery of our training programs. We strive to work with each church to equip and strengthen the body of Christ’s ability to care well for one another no matter their budget size.
-Fully underwrite our quarterly pastors and leaders lunch. Over a shared meal we provide valuable opportunities for church leaders to have fellowship, develop their skills of pastoral care, and raise awareness about biblical counseling and the hope it can offer their members.
As a ministry, we are:
– Centered on Christ.
We believe true and lasting Hope centers on the person of Jesus Christ revealed to us in the Bible.
– Committed to local churches.
We believe personal growth and change happens best within the context of Christian community. Our counseling and training services aim to support and strengthen churches throughout RDU.
– Dependent upon the Lord for His provision for our work
Trusting in the generosity of donors, like you, for 40% of our annual budget that fees for services do not cover
I am excited about Hope’s ministry because we are doing the work of the gospel. Every day we bring hope to life in personal and meaningful ways for people who are struggling. It is our joy and privilege to build relationships with our counselees and local churches in order for God’s transformational work to thrive.
